Biography
Marc Lyons is the managing partner of the Florida Keys personal injury practice at Lyons & Snyder, P.A., dividing his time between the firm’s offices in Key West and Plantation, Florida. Although he works from both locations, nearly 85% of his clients live in the Florida Keys or were injured in Key West or throughout the Florida Keys while visiting the area. Marc’s extensive experience handling cases in the Keys, combined with his strong local relationships, gives his clients a meaningful advantage in a close-knit community where local knowledge often plays a critical role in successfully resolving personal injury claims. His ongoing presence in the Florida Keys allows him to provide a level of accessibility, responsiveness, and local insight that many out-of-town law firms simply cannot match.

Mr. Lyons has extensive experience handling serious crashes along U.S. 1, the Overseas Highway, one of Florida’s most heavily traveled and dangerous roadways, as well as boating accidents and injuries involving hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals. His understanding of local traffic patterns, tourism-related issues, and the nuances of litigating cases in the Keys enables him to identify opportunities and challenges that attorneys unfamiliar with the region often overlook.
Over the years, Mr. Lyons has developed strong professional relationships throughout the Florida Keys and earned the trust of local residents, business owners, and fellow professionals. He is not a lawyer who occasionally accepts a Key West case. Before co-founding Lyons & Snyder, Mr. Lyons served as a trial attorney at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, where he tried dozens of cases and developed the litigation skills that now benefit his personal injury clients throughout the Florida Keys.
